SE Health is proud to partner with CHEO to provide care and support to children and families who need home and community care services. The role of a Pediatric Nurse is an important member of the child’s care team and will make a meaningful difference in the life of a child

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive client assessments, develop care plans, implement and evaluate care based on best evidence/practices and on client’s unique needs
• When designated as a primary provider for a client caseload, you will be the point of care lead accountable for their care while working in collaboration with other care team members and the support functions.
• Support the client through care transitions by collaborating and connecting the client with community support services in their local community.

Requirements

• Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Availability to work Sunday - Thursday 8 hour shifts
• Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and Vulnerable sector check are required upon hire.
• A willingness to attain required SE Health certifications.
• A current CPR certificate is required.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, reaching chest and waist level (i.e. shoulder flexion), and numerous hand grips of varying forces.
