and Weekends)

About Ottawa TFC
Ottawa TFC is a premier soccer club dedicated to developing elite athletes through
structured training and competitive opportunities. As an Ontario Player Development
League (OPDL) license holder and a leader in youth soccer development, we provide
high-performance training to committed athletes striving for excellence.
We are seeking dedicated and experienced soccer coaches to work within our Sports-Études
program (1:00-4:00 PM on school days at the Orleans Dome) and our U9-U18 Academy
programs. These roles are ideal for passionate coaches looking to develop top-tier athletes in
a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sports-Études training sessions on weekday afternoons under the guidance of the program director.
- Coach and support our Academy programs from the U9-U18 levels, including evening training sessions (typically between 4 and 8:30 pm right after Sports Études) and weekend matches and training programs.
- Implement Ottawa TFC’s curriculum and player development model to ensure a high standard of coaching.
- Work closely with the club’s technical staff to track player progress and provide individual feedback.
- Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Assist with match preparation, game analysis, and video review.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and club stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Canada Soccer C License (or higher) required (or in progress).
- Experience coaching high-performance youth soccer (OPDL, academy, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of long-term player development (LTPD) principles.
- Ability to motivate and develop elite youth players in a structured environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience using video analysis, periodization plans, and player tracking tools (an asset).
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.
Schedule & Commitment
- Sports-Études: Monday to Friday, 1:00-4:00 PM (school days) at the Orleans Dome (Garneau High School).
- Academy Programs: Evening training sessions between 4:00-9:00 PM & weekend games and occasional training sessions (seasonal schedule).
