We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Growth Division. This position will be responsible for driving corporate marketing programs, assisting in new business development, and managing inbound leads. The Business Development Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs), respond to opportunities, and oversee the execution of corporate marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agency work and a proven track record in driving growth initiatives, business development, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the development and execution of corporate marketing programs that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including managing inbound leads, networking, and business development activities.
  • Oversee the development of RFPs, ensuring timely and accurate responses that reflect the company’s value propositions and capabilities.
  • Shepherd the execution of marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.
  • Partner with internal teams and clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality marketing initiatives that drive business growth.
  • Work closely with other departments to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and support in the recruitment of new talent when needed.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate marketing or agency setting, with a strong focus on business development and project management.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale marketing programs and new business initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in managing RFPs, developing proposals, and leading client presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Agency experience is mandatory (e.g., experience working with marketing, advertising, or consulting agencies).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Toronto-based candidates preferred (hybrid working environment).
