Business Intelligence Analyst

Pay Range

Commensurate with Experience

The Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize their experience with data analysis and reporting solutions to help develop enterprise-wide reports using our Business Intelligence platform of choice, Microsoft Power BI.

1-Year contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Areas of Accountability

The Business Intelligence Analyst is required to do the following tasks, but not limited to:

• Ensure that our Data Warehouse is setup in a manner that allows teams to quickly derive their own “self-service” reporting from a source of quality, validated, cleansed data.
• Review and analyze data from multiple data sources and present those recommendations clearly to all levels of the organization (including Senior Management).
• Ensure data quality, the successful candidate will be a part of our data governance work, where we meet with teams across the enterprise to put structure in place to ensure valid, accurate data and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other IT related areas is required.
• A Minimum of 3 years of experience with Business Intelligence platforms, such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlikview or Crystal reports is required.
• Experience with SQL server is required.
• Experience with database queries and stored procedure writing is required.
• A Minimum of 3 years' experience in a health care environment is preferred.
• Experience architecting a data warehouse/data lake is nice to have.
• Experience with SSIS and/or DTS packages is nice to have.
• An understanding of dynamic scripting such as Python or R is nice to have.
• Demonstrates experience in reviewing and analyzing data from multiple data sources.
• The ability to derive insights from data and present those recommendations clearly to all levels of the organization (including senior management).
