Location: Langara Island, Haida Gwaii, BC

Position Type: Contract (May - September)

Shift: Early mornings, 6 days a week, 11 hour shifts

Overview:

Langara Fishing Lodge, nestled in the stunning landscapes of Haida Gwaii, is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Housekeepers. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our lodge remains a welcoming and pristine space for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibit high attention to detail in all cleaning tasks to ensure a spotless and inviting atmosphere.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, efficiently managing time to meet daily cleaning goals.
• Start early mornings to prepare accommodations for arriving guests.
• Strip and remake beds with precision and care.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Clean bathrooms, floors, and vacuum common areas to ensure hygiene and comfort.
• Handle laundry by flipping, fluffing and folding items as needed.
• Conduct window cleaning and maintenance to enhance the lodge’s appearance.
• Dust surfaces throughout the lodge to maintain a clean and fresh environment.
• Welcome and show guests to their rooms, providing a friendly and professional experience.
• Maintain the ability to be on your feet for long hours, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
