Business Development Manager

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager for FSS in Canada. In this role, you will provide process and commercial input to the Sandvik Parts and Service Business Line, focusing on maximizing the profitable and sustainable wallet share for Sandvik’s Eclipse Fire Suppression Systems (FSS) product streams. You will manage categories within the sales area, customizing them to meet customer needs.

What you will be doing

• Proactively drive safety as a business advantage and identify relevant offerings.
• Develop and map aftermarket strategies for FSS products.
• Keep up to date with welding practices, steel quality, and pricing.
• Perform gap analysis on available fleet to identify opportunities for growth and sustainability.
• Achieve business growth targets.
• Support Sales Area with new product introductions and pricing strategies.
• Provide strategic support in mapping market share by product offering and customer opportunity analysis.
• Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders regarding business activities and market share.
• Develop offerings and maintain CRM leads with a focus on Circularity.
• Assist with forecast/demand planning to ensure adequate supply.
• Build strong relationships with global Fire Suppression sales teams and other key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on competitor product development and performance.
• Ensure all activities align with Company Values and policies.

Experience and Qualifications

• Technical qualification (diploma or degree), Trade or Business related.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, parts and service business, and experience with Fire Suppression Systems.
• Field Sales experience within the mining industry and associated equipment.
• Experience in equipment and aftermarket sales and service.
