To support our continued market growth and industry leadership, we are looking for a talented candidate to join us as a Production Associate aligned with our C5ISR Modular Solutions business unit which develops Curtiss-Wright’s most advanced embedded electronics. You should have relevant industry experience and passion for technology, combined with strong sales and business leadership skills, to join the Curtiss-Wright team.

Your Challenge:

  • Operate equipment efficiently following defined work schedule from the area Supervisor & Production Control as well as following all Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Assembly of mechanical pieces on to the product as defined by drawings & BOMs.
  • Apply adhesives or under fill to product as required.
  • Provide recommendations for process changes and improvement.
  • Support yield improvements through Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Complete all logs, reports and other data as defined by the area Supervisor.
  • May contribute as a member of the Spill team and/or Health and Safety committee.
  • Responsible for all material handling duties, lifting daily supplies as required.
  • Maintaining a workstation in regard to 6S principles.

What you bring:

  • Experience within a PWB assembly or Box build environment.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and personal computers.
  • Experience working with formal procedures and supporting documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to lift normal consumable supplies associated with the processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with manual dexterity.
  • Familiar with mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with torque tools.
  • Post-Secondary education favorable but not a requirement.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of defect recognition for workmanship requirements.
