ASIC CAD Intern

Responsibilities

Work as part of a world class ASIC design team, building leading edge chips for the Coherent Optics market.

Your tasks would include developing ASIC flow, creating scripts for design automation, and other related design tasks as needed such as synthesis/rule checking, etc

Requirements

Enrolled in Electrical/Computer Engineering program at a Canadian university.

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong Working Knowledge/experience Of Python And/or Other Programming/scripting Language

Good verbal/written communication skills and teamwork

Completed courses or previous work in ASIC design an asset

Knowledge of Synopsys Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools an asset

Knowledge of Verilog or System Verilog an asset

Knowledge of machine learning and/or neural networks may be an asset

You will be required to provide certain information for export control compliance assessment purposes, and your information will be reviewed by Infinera's hiring and export control teams to ensure compliance with the U.S. export control laws and regulations. Infinera will collect necessary documents (such as proof of citizenship etc.) to assess license/authorization requirements if you are offered and accept the position.”
