Job Description
General Labourer I
The General Labourer I position is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks including: loading materials into production machines, removing, packing and sorting raw materials or finished products using manual or power equipment. This position may be responsible for cleaning work areas and equipment performing other tasks as needed.

General Labourer I
The General Labourer I position is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks including: loading materials into production machines, removing, packing and sorting raw materials or finished products using manual or power equipment. Performance Expectations
- Load and unload parts and materials for production.
- Pack and sort raw materials or finished products.
- Assist in the preparation and transportation of material to various production lines.
- Operation of both manual and powered hand tools and equipment.
- Assist in meeting production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the cleanliness of the work area.
- Follow priorities set by supervisors and sequence their tasks within a set framework.
- Ability to work on tasks that are generally repetitive.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements in the facility’s geographic location and:
- ISO 14001: Environmental Management system standard.
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety.
- Some completion of secondary school.
- Possess drive and motivation to learn continuously on the job.
- Ability to work mainly independently and in a team setting requiring cooperation.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors to exchange information about tasks and to coordinate work.
- Partake in training related to the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), use of cleaning products and equipment.
