The QA Inspector under the authority of the Compliance and Quality System Manager, shall ensure the sampling and/or inspection of raw materials, packaging components, processing aids and finished products in accordance with the current procedures (including AQL visual inspection of finished products).

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Sampling of raw materials, APIs, ongoing products, and finished product according to the current procedures and sampling plans.
  • Sampling and inspection of packaging components (printed and non-printed) according to the procedures.
  • Inspection of processing aids according to procedures.
  • Perform AQL visual inspection of units inspected during production (syringes, suspension, RTU & Lyo)
  • Performs the cleaning of the weighing/sampling rooms according to the current program.
  • Performs physical analysis (dimensions, capacity, visual inspections) and reports the results according to the current procedures.
  • Maintains the retain samples database and manages the retain material.
  • Could Participates in the sampling of purified water systems, WFI, nitrogen and vapor.
  • Prepare the reception of samples to the laboratories: receipt of samples and preparation of files.
  • Prepares analysis requests in the database.
  • Completes the data entry in the database to document the release and analysis time.
  • Optimize and classify documentation related to inspection files, laboratory notebooks, certificates of analysis.
  • Participates in investigation processes when necessary.
  • Supports all other activities related to its tasks
  • Use various computer systems (LIMS, SAP, DMS) as part of its work

Skills, Knowledge And Abilities

  • Knowledge of Canadian BPFs
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Ability to move heavy loads.
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Dynamic, meticulous and effective.
  • Good knowledge of the English language (reading, writing the functional level).
  • Works under a minimum of supervision.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite would be an asset
