As the Talent Programs Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the recruitment process while also supporting various HR initiatives. This dynamic position requires a service-minded operations specialist driven to deliver best-in-class support to the Talent Acquisition team and the broader HR department.

In this role, you will report directly to the Leader, Talent Acquisition and collaborate with HR partners to achieve organizational goals. You will manage day-to-day recruitment activities while also contributing to HR projects and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campus Engagement: Maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and student organizations to promote our internship and entry-level opportunities.

  • Campus Recruitment: Manage the campus recruitment cycle for intern including conducting initial screening, scheduling interviews, and negotiating offers.

  • ATS and Recruitment Assistance: Enter requisitions, post jobs, coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Onboarding Coordination and Support: Facilitate the background check and onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and new employees are welcomed effectively.

  • HR Orientation: Implement effective orientation program for new hires.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing support and guidance on HR policies and procedures.

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People and Culture department, including maintaining employee records, processing HR documents, and managing HR databases.

  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to support HR and recruitment strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in HR coordination or Talent Acquisition within a corporate setting; experience in the technology sector is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and ATS systems, as well as reporting tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, analytical thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Enthusiasm for representing Interac and our core values throughout all HR and recruitment activities.
