Contract length: 4 months (possibility for extension)

Hours of work per week: 14 hours (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Position type: Non-Union Casual (NUC)

Rate of pay: $21

Location: Toronto, Canada (please note there is no remote possibility for this position)

The opportunity

Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Operations, Partnerships and Data Manager by researching, organizing and managing information as it relates to the priorities of the program. The Administrative Assistant will assist in delegated tasks to ensure an organized and efficient schedule and flow of information. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will support the goals, objectives and special projects of the Research Program by liaising with Research Staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Preferably enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree or postgraduate program in Business, Finance or equivalent experience
  • Administrative experience preferably in the healthcare or Research industry. Strong knowledge and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Adobe Professional
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize work in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Highly developed evaluative and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of judgment, tact and diplomacy in interacting with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrates commitment and actions in advancing equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
