What You Will Get To Do:

  • Supports, trains and guides associates within direct team by sharing job knowledge and best practices.
  • Interact with various internal GlobeOp departments such as Fund Accounting, Operations, Valuations, Investor Services and IT to maintain high client service levels.
  • Perform and review internal control procedures as part of compiling regular reporting packages for clients to support positions, trades and cash prior to handing off to other operational groups.
  • Will be escalation point for more complex functions.
  • Collaborate with other functional teams to onboard new clients and support existing system transitions.
  • Coordinate testing of tech development and system enhancements within the platform to increase efficiency, functionality and automate processes.
  • Plan and design projects, proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues, and taking corrective actions as needed.

What You Will Bring:

  • BA in business/finance or related discipline.
  • 4+ years’ experience with Back Office Operations working for either a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund, or Investment Advisor.
  • Prior experience with various products including OTC products, equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX, Mortgages, options and working knowledge of Corporate Actions.
  • Middle/Back-office experience covering OTC trade settlements, fail control, reconciliation of trade discrepancies, and client servicing environments.
  • Strong written, verbal communication skills, and solid MS Excel knowledge.
  • Effective leadership, interpersonal skills, and clear communication to foster strong team dynamics.
  • Successful colleagues are self-motivated, take ownership of issues, recommend solutions, and appropriately apply relevant procedures.
