IRIS, the largest eye care retail brand with over 150 stores located in 5 Canadian provinces, is looking for an experienced Director of Operations for the provinces of BC, AB, ON and NB.

You Will Have The Potential
- To influence the retail optical market by leading a team of 6 Regional Managers across 4 provinces.
- To exchange and share your expertise with Canadian leaders to promote and elevate the patient experience at the heart of IRIS.
- To grow in a Canadian and American company, IRIS being part of the NewLook Vision Group with 8 diversified banners across North America.
- To be part of a passionate group of Optometrists, Opticians and support staff driven by a common ambition to be the best destination for eye care and eye wear.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth running of 60 locations within the designated territory. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching and mentorship to 6 regional managers. Foster a culture of collegiality, continuous improvement and professional development.
- Profit and Loss (P/L) Accountability: Oversee the financial performance of the clinics and the regions. Develop strategies to maximize revenue and control costs.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term strategies for growth and expansion.
- Experience in the optical market (mandatory) in a similar role.
- Proven track record of success in a similar position.
- Be available to travel and have few schedule restrictions.
- Solid knowledge in business management and analysis of financial statements.
- Action-oriented and driven by results achieved through sustainable processes.
