Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team at our Regina location.
What You Will Do:
- Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues and stakeholders
- Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
- Oversee warehouse operational requirements
- Maintain staffing levels by interviewing, hiring and training employees to meet operational demands
- Support and lead warehouse staff through coaching, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers by overseeing shipping, customer orders and dispatching drivers to service customers
- Inspect warehouse equipment and racking; arranging repairs as needed
- Process special order product returns and warranty claims
- Ensure all warehouse staff are following FGI policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in a Heavy Duty Parts warehouse environment required
- Two years of warehouse management experience required
- MUST BE ABLE to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift to 75 – 100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers.
- Excellent Customer Service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
- Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills
- Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems
- Previous experience in inventory management is an asset
- Previous experience with Heavy Duty parts cataloguing systems and barcode systems is an asset
- Previous experience working with warehouse equipment is an asset
- Heavy-duty parts knowledge or background is an asset
