The successful applicant will be 100% office-based and involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes benefits, RRSP matching, vacation days and sick days. This is a permanent position with a hourly rate range of $31.73-$52.88, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location. We are also committed to flexible work hours and schedules, team-based work, and cross-training opportunities.

The successful applicant will be 100% office-based and involved in a broad range of projects with responsibilities as follows:
- Actively participate and drive Montrose strong safety culture
- Support simple to moderately complex ARRM projects
- Ensure internal communication and collaboration to facilitate delivery of high-quality products to meet our clients’ unique project needs
- Manage project scopes, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with internal project teams across disciplines, including engineers, hydrogeologists, soil scientists and ecologists
- Communicate with clients and project related stakeholders
- Manage client communications and expectations
- Prepare technical correspondence, proposals, work plans and cost estimates
- Function effectively within and contribute to the success of a collaborative team
- Proactively engage and participate in development opportunities and your career growth
- Mentor and develop junior staff members
- Technical diploma or degree in environmental science, project management or a related field
- A minimum of two (2) years’ previous project management experience
- Project management experience in ARRM projects in Western Canada would be considered an asset
- Experience with Workday software would be an enormous asset
- Experience managing client relationships
- Eligibility for registration in or a member in good standing of a professional organization would be considered an asset
- Familiarity with preparing work plans, cost estimates and scopes of work
- Self-motivated and possess strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail orientated, possess good organizational skills and have the ability to prioritize
- Willingness to provide direction and mentorship to more junior professionals
- A valid and clean class 5 driver’s license with no restrictions
