WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section/department of the production line, ensuring efficient operations and accountability for quality controls within your area. You will assist your supervisor in driving daily production goals, serve as the trainer and subject matter expert for your section/department, and lead Tier 1 meetings with your assigned employees. In this role, you will lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills, fostering a culture of safety and accountability, and maintaining high standards for quality and productivity. Effective communication will be key as you provide guidance, feedback, and motivation to your team. Additionally, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, ensuring compliance with specifications, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will play a vital role in achieving daily production and quality goals by taking ownership of your department’s performance and contributing to the team’s overall success.

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Previous experience in the curtain wall industry (highly preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel, and familiarity with Smartsheets
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, positive, and productive workplace
  • Able to work collaboratively with a team
  • Must be able to walk, bend, twist, squat and climb on an occasional basis
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds
  • Strong time management skills to meet and exceed production schedules
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities to drive solutions and improvements
  • Proficiency in interpreting fabrication drawings and utilizing tools such as calipers
  • Demonstrated extreme ownership, taking full responsibility for team performance and results
  • Leadership skills with the ability to lead by example and model accountability and professionalism
  • Competence in managing through systems to ensure consistency, efficiency, and operational success
