Business Analyst:

On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.


Business Analyst - Job Description:

This role involves working with the FX Risk technology team on the strategic development of the FX Risk valuation and management application. The Business Analyst will be responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to facilitate clear and concise communication, contributing to the exploration and investigation of business performance to drive business planning.


Business Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Ownership for assigned projects, managing, and coordinating execution plans from inception to production.
• Develop detailed technology work plans, schedules, and project estimates.
• Consult with business clients to determine system functional specifications.
• Evaluate new IT developments and recommend systems alternatives or enhancements.
• Provide input during development and implementation phases for complex projects.
• Identify and communicate risks and propose mitigation options.
• Provide sophisticated analysis and develop innovative solutions.
• Present complex information concisely to inform decision-making.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members.
  
  
  

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Relevant experience in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of FX/FX Options and/or Rates or other Derivatives products.
• Proven track record of business analysis experience.
• Strong investigation and data analysis skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently.
• Data analysis with intermediate/advanced Python, SQL, Microsoft Office Suite skills.

• Understanding Trade Capture and Risk management.
• Leadership skills with the ability to partner and influence.
• Flexibility to collaborate with a global team.
• Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical background.

This is a 12 month contract position.
