Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Expansion:
- Develop and execute strategies to deepen and expand relationships with Big Five Canadian Banks, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Leverage existing network and industry knowledge to enhance our positioning and influence within Big 5 Canadian banks and similar banking institutions.
- Consulting Leadership:
- Lead the growth of the consulting team by building and strengthening relationships with senior leaders at client organizations, finding, and developing top talent, and shaping/delivering business development opportunities.
- Lead and oversee the delivery of data consulting projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with client objectives.
- Drive transformational value for our clients through cutting-edge application of AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics fully integrated into business capabilities
- Engage directly with senior leadership to create strategies and blueprints for data transformation and analytics modernization programs to improve operations and enable business outcomes
- Business Development:
- Drive business development efforts by proactively identify potential business opportunities within Big Five Canadian Banks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of key clients.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing deep finance consulting and data analytics experience to address the needs of our clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing Big Five Canadian Banks and similar banking institutions, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and uncovering new business opportunities through regular engagement and strategic account management.
- Support discussions with Big Five Canadian Banks to explore needs and align Capgemini’s capabilities with their strategic goals.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor consultants fostering a culture of continuous learning and exceptional client service.
- Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional results.
- 15+ years of experience in data consulting, with a background in senior manager or director-level roles at leading consulting firms
- 15+ years of experience in the banking sector, with a deep understanding of operations, challenges, and opportunities at Big Five Canadian Banks.
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, AI, and related technologies.
- 5+ years of experience delivering Data & Analytics solutions on Azure/ AWS/GCP, with expertise in Databricks, Snowflake and/or equivalents in other cloud platforms
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management, with a focus on strategic growth and delivery excellence.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and stakeholders.
