Principal Accountabilities

  • Ensure that all sanitation standards are exceeded.
  • Ability to work in warm environments.
  • Comfortable working with raw meat; Chicken.
  • Able to stand for 8 or 10 hours and complete physically repetitive labour in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work with chemicals and wear protective personal equipment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures; and other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications

  • Able to read, write and comprehend English proficiently.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals.
  • Able to crouch, bend, twist, kneel and navigate the plant.
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Able to work in indoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Familiar with lock out and tag out of equipment during sanitization.
  • Able to work in smaller and confined spaces.
  • Able to work with large power hoses and facility equipment weighing up to 60lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Execute day-to-day activities including but not limited to, dis-assembly, cleaning, sanitizing, visually inspecting and reassembly of equipment.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • 18 years or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Warehouse experience.
