We invite applications for the position of Customer Service Supervisor a permanent full-time position to join our Home and Building Supplies Centre team in Stony Plain, AB.

What You’ll Do

The Customer Service Supervisor will ensure a positive customer experience by offering courteous, friendly and engaging customer service. Provide a high level of product knowledge and skills, while always delivering the highest service and satisfaction.

  • Oversee the daily operations in the front-end to maintain excellent customer experience while adhering to the department budget.
  • Provide a high level of prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service at all times and ensure customers always take priority over all other tasks, meetings or discussions.
  • Oversee the front-end merchandising areas, opening and closing out of registers, and reconciling tills following established procedures.
  • Maintain customer service standards by tracking, monitoring and following-up with customer comments and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training and development of front-end department employees.
  • Provide strong leadership and support to all team members.
  • Demonstrate and role model behavior consistent with organizational expectations, policies and procedures and values.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as required including cleaning bins, shelving, equipment, removal of garbage, sweeping floors and ensuring all traffic areas are kept clear.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in Retail Home and Building and:

  • Post-Secondary Education in a related field
  • 3-5 years retail experience in the Home and Building Solutions industry
  • Previous Supervisory skills would be an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient in a fast-paced and time sensitive work environment
