Lead Department Manager - Overnights

Position Summary

What you'll do

• Assists in providing direction and co-ordination of the Overnight Stocking as per priorities from the Overnight Assistant Manager and the Daytime Management Team.
• Assesses the overall presentation of merchandise and appearance of the store, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures that defective merchandise is taken to the claims room.
• General responsibility for store safety and security in absence of the Overnight Assistant Manager; manages accidents during overnight shifts in their absence.
• Inspects premises of assigned areas to ensure adequate security and compliance of physical facilities.
• Participates in training and development of Overnight Associates to achieve production results.
