QE Lead

We are looking for a seasoned and detail-focused QE Lead to manage and oversee the testing processes and team for our banking client. In this role, you will:

• Act as Release lead and manage a team of 20 QE members.
• Define and implement release test strategies, test plans, and schedules to meet business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end QA activities for releases, ensuring timely and defect-free delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Stakeholders, Business, Project Managers, Team Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and QE Engineers to improve the overall quality and reliability of the work you're doing.
• Share daily Release project Status with customers, partners, and team members to ensure visibility and alignment with the test strategy/plan.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

• Overall, 10 to 15 years of IT experience focused on QA software testing preferably in a Banking domain.
• Hands-on experience with defining test strategy and test approach for medium and large programs in Agile and Non-agile projects.
• Experience in test case design at different levels (component/service, integration, end-to-end/user scenarios) or non-functional testing (depending on role).
• Hands-on experience in the usage of test management tools – JIRA, Confluence, Qtest, etc.
• Good understanding and experience in Git process and Continuous Integration.
• Good understanding of the defect management process.
