Responsibilities
- Greet/serve guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Be knowledgeable about our menu and all allergies that are associated
- Provide attentive service to guests by refilling drinks as needed and checking in during meals
- Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience
- Check tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction, resolve guest complaints, or refer to management when necessary
- Inspect restaurant space, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety in assigned section
- Stock and maintain all bar products including mis en place
- Check and maintain beer keg and liquor levels
- Count and take inventory of all beverages and supplies and assist manager with inventory ordering
- Wash, polish and arrange glasses in a neat and attractive display
- Assist with restaurant set up and break down/opening and closing duties.
- Lead to achieve desired results in high quality service and experience for our guests
- Ability to work as a team player. Servers/Bartenders may be asked to assist with seating guests/bussing duties etc.
Qualifications
- Smart Serve certification
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/bartender/restaurant experience
- Good knowledge of food and beverage
- Very flexible and able to adapt to changing environments and Management demands
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional guest service
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8+ hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
