Position Description Our District is seeking upcoming university graduates of Bachelor of Education/Post Graduate Education Programs that allow for qualified applicants to become certified teachers in the province of British Columbia. We anticipate having multiple openings for May/June as well as for the upcoming school year for both contract teacher positions and casual on call positions. This posting if for individuals wishing to complete the interview and reference check process in order to expediate the hiring process upon your university graduation.

Compensation

Up to $1,000 relocation allowance for teachers relocation from within BC; Up to $1,500 for teachers relocating from AB, SK & MB; and up to $2,000 for teachers relocating from all other provinces and out of country.

Salary as per collective agreement. Current salary grid is $57,972 - $106,217. Salary is based on TQS and prior experience.

Benefits as per collective agreement with option to enroll in Dental, Extended Health, and Group Life Insurance. Benefits are employer paid based on FTE

We serve 41 schools: 32 Elementary schools, 8 Secondary schools and 1 District Learning Support center for alternative and alternate learning opportunities.
