Purpose of the Role

The Coordinator, Trust is responsible for handling all trust funds on behalf of the firm as directed by the professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Customer service with lawyers and assistants
  • Wire trust funds
  • Prepare trust cheques and certify if needed

Other Duties

  • Enter disbursements
  • Reconcile / post credit cards
  • Reconcile disbursement rejects
  • Firm projects / initiatives

Key Competencies

  • Established knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Knowledge of CMS OPEN, ARCS an asset
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A desire to continuously improve skills
  • A strong focus on ensuring the highest levels of client service standards are delivered and maintained
