Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a full-time Project Manager.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the execution of project management plans including budget and risk

• Direct projects by monitoring progress, identifying variances, and creating corrective actions

• Lead teams through projects by delegating, coaching, motivating, and handling conflict

• Bring projects to a formal conclusion and document the lessons learned for future projects

• Set expectations, and deadlines and ensure they are met

• Mentor team members and colleagues, and collaborate with other project managers

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of successfully implementing large projects providing oversight at the program level

• An organized multi-tasker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Leader who excels in helping others grow

• A decision-maker with insight in stakeholder management

• Degree in business or computer science and at least eight years of experience, including at least four years in a project management role (or an equivalent combination of education and experience);

• PMP certification is an asset

• Experience in the Indigenous space an asset

• PAIR awareness or experience an asset
