With a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and collaboration, the company is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead financial operations and support continued strategic growth. Reporting directly to the owners, this hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the company’s financial future while driving strategic initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Financial Operations Manager will oversee the development and maintenance of robust financial processes and controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and reliability in reporting. As a leader, you will mentor and guide the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. The role also involves managing the transition to a unified ERP platform (Syspro), streamlining financial operations across the organization, and driving the financial integration of recent and future acquisitions.

Collaboration is key to this position, as the Financial Operations Manager will work closely with leadership on financial planning, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives. Building strong relationships with engineering staff, shop floor employees, and other stakeholders is critical to success, as is the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights for diverse audiences. The role also requires a proactive approach to change management, ensuring smooth transitions as new systems and processes are implemented.

The ideal candidate will have confidence in their decision-making abilities and a strong understanding of resource management. They must be flexible, adaptable, and capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently. The ability to navigate challenges and find solutions in a dynamic environment is essential.

A CPA designation and proven experience in accounting—particularly in developing and enforcing financial controls—are required. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach to financial operations, and proficiency with ERP systems like Syspro. Effective communication and a forward-thinking mindset are critical, as this role offers the potential to evolve into a strategic leadership position as the company continues to grow.
