Our Ideal Candidate

Allnorth is seeking skilled Journeyman/3rd and 4th year electricians for turn around work at industrial facilities in the Edmonton area.

As a successful applicant, you will be part of a professional team committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Details

  • Shift:10-hour shifts per day. Increased shifts during outages.
  • Accommodations: None.
  • Project Type: Industrial.
  • Location: Edmonton and Ft. Saskatchewan.

A Day in the Life

  • Lighting, temporary power and other electrical support in preparation for outages.
  • Electrical tasks and small projects during facility outages.
  • Ensuring the electrical systems meet all specifications and safety standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Blue Book) for apprentices
  • Must be registered with the applicable Apprenticeship Board
  • Proven experience in industrial electrical work
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and installation techniques in an industrial setting
  • Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems
  • Own electrical hand tools
  • Valid certifications: CSTS 2020, Fall Protection, and H2S Alive (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to site safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation to the job site
  • Computer skills are necessary, with proficiency in Bluebeam for redlining drawings. While experience with Bluebeam is not a disqualifier, candidates with the ability to use this software will have an advantage in completing project tasks efficiently.
