The Administrator, Finance provides a variety of financial and administrative support, including invoice payment and financial processing, member billing and service support, and administrative support to the Finance department. This role reports to the Business Partner, Support Services.
Please note this is a 12-month contract position to cover a maternity leave.
CPA Alberta has offices in Edmonton and Calgary and provides hybrid Telecommuting opportunities (working from home a maximum of 3 days a week).
What you bring
- 1-2 years' experience in accounts payable and/or office administration and customer service
- Understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Experience with AP processing software and ERP software is considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains and ReQlogic is considered an asset
What you will be doing
- Ensure invoices are reviewed daily to confirm they are accurate before processing
- Coordinate cheque runs with authorized signatories
- Plan and deposit cheques as necessary within the proper month
- Reconcile expense reports
- Monitor the finance and accounts payable shared email inboxes and ensure inquiries and invoices are cleared within a 24–48-hour window
- Provide exceptional customer service to members during member renewals and support the finance team during member billing
- Provide general administrative support for the Finance department
- Support reception based on scheduled needs
