Senior Specialist - Marketplace

Some of what you will do:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Specialist of Online Marketplaces to join our team at Staples Canada company. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving success in our online marketplace operation, enhancing our presence across various platforms, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of e-commerce trends & operations, strong leadership skills, as well as project planning and implementation.

Specifically, You Will

• Create, optimize, and manage product listings to enhance visibility and conversion rates.
• Ensure product listings are accurate, compelling, and compliant with marketplace guidelines.
• Utilize SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings
• Monitor inventory levels and manage restocking to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
• Analyze sales data and key metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer reviews, and market trends.
• Develop and implement Amazon advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, etc.) to drive traffic and sales.
• Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and gather positive reviews.
  
  

Some Of What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; post-graduate and/or MBA preferred.
• Working knowledge of web site structure and functionality.
• Strong online analytics skills using tools like Adobe, Google analytics,
• Working knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with databases.
• Understanding of online marketplace dynamics, policies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, tools, and analytics software.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a focus on online / B2B marketplaces.
