Your role, your impact

As a financial analyst reporting to the team leader, Financial Reporting, you will join the team responsible for providing financial analysis and reporting for a global view of the group.

Your day-to-day

• Perform month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end reports;
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year-end financial information, including presentations to management and the board of directors;
• Enter and compile data for financial analysis;
• Participate in the execution and documentation of SOX controls;
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance processes and support company growth;
• Respond to requests from various departments and other ad hoc requests.
  
  

Keys to your success

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly master financial systems;
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to changing requirements.
  
  

Extra edge

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one;
• Experience with Oracle and Smart View;
• Experience with ERP systems.
  
  

Language Skills

• French: Advanced
• English: Proficient
  
  

Please note that due to the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a proficient level of English is required, in particular to communicate on a daily basis with employees and managers outside of Quebec, as well as to read and understand documentation.
