What will your typical day look like?
You will be responsible for conducting detailed requirements gathering sessions and articulating client needs within briefing documentation. Responsible for designing and developing interactive data visualizations that adhere to Information Design best practices and communicate business insights back to clients. Collaborating extensively with clients and other Deloitte teams. Liaising with data science and data architecture team members to optimize client data for visualization purposes. Managing project timelines and client deliverables. Candidates with experience creating visualizations for Financial Services, Public Sector, Healthcare, Consumer or Energy & Resource sectors are preferred.
About the team
AI&Data, Deloitte’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) practice is comprised of a collaborative team of experts who use their hands-on experience with cutting-edge information assets to facilitate successful AI transformations. We develop AI-enabled solutions to address all aspects of a client’s transformative journey with disciplined focus on business outcomes. Our Data & Analytics Modernization team helps clients design, architect, and implement the data platforms – be it in the cloud or on-premise – required to enable cutting-edge AI solutions. You will be part of a practice to deliver a breadth of solutions to solve our clients most challenging business problems, with a focus on Big Data, BI/DW, Data Integration, Data Governance, Master Data and Analytics applications. Each of these applications leverages a different mix of traditional and innovative technologies to achieve business outcomes.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
- University or college degree, preferably within the disciplines of statistics, mathematics, computer science, geospatial analysis or graphic/communication design
- Strong working knowledge of Tableau, MS Power BI, and/or other data visualization software
- Minimum of 2+ years applying Information Design best practices to create static or interactive visualizations for client deliverables
- Strong presentation and communication skills to facilitate workshops and convey ideas and concepts to various target groups in both functional and technical roles
- A passion for quality visual design and user experience
- Data visualization portfolio
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL, JS and D3 is a plus
- Bilingual (English / French)

Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
