Position Highlights

• Cloud Practice Lead
• Full-time, permanent Hybrid Work environment
• Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am – 5 pm, with some after-hours support required as needed

As Jot Digital continues to expand, we are looking for a Cloud Practice Lead to drive our cloud strategy, service offerings, and technical expertise. This role is a blend of strategic leadership, service delivery oversight, and technical excellence in cloud solutions.

This role will focus on shaping Jot Digital’s cloud service strategy, managing cloud engineers and architects, and ensuring successful implementation of cloud solutions.

Primary Focus of the role:

Cloud Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the cloud practice strategy, aligning with Jot Digital’s business objectives.
• Lead cloud solution development and stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies.
• Mentor and develop a team of cloud engineers, architects, and consultants.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to forecast future resourcing needs based on service demand and project pipelines.

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Oversee cloud service delivery to ensure high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Manage and optimize workflows to ensure timely and efficient resolution of technical challenges.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency and service quality.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex cloud service issues.

Client Engagement and Technical Pre-Sales

• Partner with clients to understand their cloud transformation needs and develop tailored solutions through executive-level advisory services on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations to showcase Jot Digital’s cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create thought leadership content, whitepapers, and webinars related to cloud services.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and guidance during client engagements.
• Work closely with PMO, Sales, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of cloud service objectives with company goals.

What you bring to the table

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams and engage with executive stakeholders.
• Possess strong delivery leadership skills, including the ability to manage and guide cross-functional teams, ensure successful cloud solution implementations, maintain client relationships, and drive continuous improvement while aligning with business goals and industry best practices.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.
• Experience in Key Technology areas: AWS, Azure, Google GCP, cloud security and governance, and DevOps and Platform Engineering technologies and concepts.
• Curiosity with a desire to explore emerging technologies, continuous learning, and innovative problem-solving skills.

Preferred but Not Required

• Business Consulting Operations Expertise (SOWs, Margins, Utilization, etc)
• Certifications (preferred, but not required):
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud cost optimization strategies.
