This position is a full-time opportunity based in Winnipeg, MB.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM.
Requirement: Must be eligible to work in Canada.
This is an onsite position.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dealership business model, who is willing to champion complex systems and transactions, being solution oriented and has the ability to communicate findings through qualitative and quantitative management reports.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Group Controller, with a functional line into the Director of Finance for Reesink Canada, the Assistant Group Controller for Reesink Canada Holdings Inc. will become a champion of our ERP and reporting systems, will enhance our process and reporting environment, and become involved in both operational and financial systems. We are looking for a strong team player willing to contribute to a people, process and technology environment. The role will also be integrated into the budget and forecast processes and will be a resource for our annual year end audit functions. Must be willing to travel across the Canadian Prairies for approximately 8 to 10 weeks per annum.

In a Typical Day, YOU Will
Prepare internal financial and management reports, as well as monthly financial reports to external parties. These reports will typically be focused on detailed Income Statement variance analysis and Inventory reporting. Assist in the year-end audit process by coordinating with external auditors, consultants, and internal teams. Review month-end reconciliations of GL accounts to support month-end processes and reporting. Assist with operational accounting matters and support dealership teams as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Financial management role: 5 years (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA designation (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years experience in a financial management/department management role.
- Experience within a high-growth organization.
- Strong business acumen and ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- A natural people person who can communicate and collaborate with a team.
- Professional written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proven experience in Managing Processes, Financial Software, Developing Standards, Auditing, Accounting, Tracking Budget Expenses, Analyzing Information.
- Dealership experience is nice to have.
Financial management role: 5 years (preferred).
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
- Requires ability to spend long periods of time sitting or standing at your workstation.
- Ability to climb a flight of stairs to access the office.
- Much of your time will be spent on the phone or computer.
