Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.


Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy - Job Description:

As a Junior Analyst on the Distribution Strategy team, you will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the distribution of mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment products. You will deliver advice that solves business problems through research, analysis, and compelling strategic recommendations.


Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy - Responsibilities:

• Assist in the analysis of distribution channels, sales trends, and market opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
• Support in the creation of reports, dashboards, models, and presentations to analyze and track distribution performance metrics.
• Assist with the preparation of materials for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management presentations.
• Help manage and maintain distribution data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct research on competitors, market conditions, and client needs to support continued business strategy development.
• Lead strategic projects and manage relationships with stakeholders.
  
  
  

Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy - Mandatory Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in asset management, financial services, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented and organized individual.

Junior Analyst, Distribution Strategy – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Capital Markets experience.
• CSC or CFA certification.
• Coding experience (VBA and Power BI).
• Thinks creatively and proposes new ideas.

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension and full-time employment.
