Who We're Looking For
Rogers is seeking an innovative and self-motivated Technical Delivery Lead reporting to the Senior Manager Rogers Business Digital Delivery. This individual will be expected to act as the Technical lead on various initiatives within the Rogers Business Digital Delivery team. This role will be accountable for working closely with our application vendors and internal Technology teams to design, develop and implement new RB360 tool for RB Assisted channels. In this pivotal role, you’ll work with a dedicated team of full-time employees and contract resources, driving the timely and efficient delivery of cutting-edge applications that power our Business digital accounts. What You'll Do
- Review and analyze project requirements and use cases.
- Participate in JAD sessions to develop an end to end solution in alignment with Enterprise Architecture.
- Responsible for application architecture and application infrastructure, detailed technical design, code and implementation for RB360 applications.
- Contribute to requirements response, HLD/DDD (High Level Design / Detailed Design Document), and ensure the application technology solution is properly documented.
- Analyze and forecast capacity to decide if infrastructure changes are required.
- Proactively identify and provide recommendations to resolve project technical risks and its potential impacts associated with application development.
- Work with project managers, Product owners, BSAs and other stakeholders to agree upon projects priorities and develop application building blocks and key technical deliverables for ‘on-time’ ‘in-budget’ execution of the projects.
- Participate in code reviews, as required.
- Support troubleshooting in dev, staging and, if necessary, production environments
- Provide evaluation of existing and new software products
- Offer technical guidance and support to the team, addressing complex issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure the team's skills remain cutting-edge.
- Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as technical lead
- Extensive experience in Microservice architecture
- Proven experience in API development
- Familiarity with Angular 12 and above
- Expertise in user-centered design
- Knowledge of Agile technical practices
- Experience with ordering catalog systems
- Skilled in building applications that seamlessly consume RESTful APIs and interact with databases, with a strong focus on creating a common experience layer.
