Business Analyst - Change Management

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Business Analyst who will be a Change Management Practitioner in the IT team to help the EAMRPI2 projects.
Responsibilities:
• Work with multiple project streams of EAMRPI2 to understand the change to the functionalities of the asset management system (HxGN EAM), document the change in user guides, create detail change management plan and execute the plan.
• Update the change in the existing HxGN EAM MV user guides, create bulletins and publish them to the MV HxGN EAM users.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and demonstrate the new functionalities to the MV HxGN EAM users and answer questions.
• Create training schedules, conduct training sessions and collect feedback from the training sessions.
• Create/update requirements documentation and other communication tools like emails.
• Assist with the User Acceptance Testing of multiple EAMRPI2 projects.
• Generate reports requested by the EAMRPI2 program manager.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum and be a part of the working team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5-7 years of experience working in IT as a Business Analyst or Business System Analyst on a software system.
• Experience with change management processes.
• Experience with software development methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
In addition, this position requires the ability to:
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts.
• Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given.
• Maintain confidentiality.
