Job Overview

We are recruiting a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various projects within our organization. As the Project Administrator, you will work closely with project managers, team members, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project operations from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include maintaining project documentation, personnel onboarding, and assisting with schedules. You will also ensure that all necessary resources are available and that the project stays on track, all while maintaining clear communication across all parties involved.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new project personnel
  • Organize and maintain project personnel scheduling
  • Coordinate project personnel rotational travel logistics
  • Ensure client’s needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Communicate and attend meetings with the client regarding administrative functions.
  • Support project managers, quality personnel, safety personnel and other disciplines administratively.

Requirements

  • Completion of or enrollment in a Business, Administrative program or Construction Technology diploma program is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Relevant experience in the Alberta energy, industrial construction and/or oil and gas industries is an asset
  • Experience in scheduling and logistics is considered an asset
  • Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Good attention to detail and sound judgment skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test including cannabis
