Purchasing Specialist, Full-Time

Job Location: Must be Physically Located out of Calgary, Remote Work

Bye-bye reporting for duty at an office every day; this is a remote position (must be located in Alberta). What You’ll Be Doing

  • Use public listing sites to find cars that fit with our company needs.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct a valuation process to determine market value, negotiate prices and transportation arrangements with sellers/suppliers.
  • Meet with sellers to negotiate final purchase price while providing excellent customer service.
  • Work with accounting team for B2C payment.
  • Ensure delivery and intended disposition.
  • Assist with remarketing wholesale inventory - maintain accurate inventory counts, work with marketing to list units, assist in assessing vehicle value, maximizing return and time to market.

To Succeed, We Are Looking For Someone Who

  • Has experience and has a love for sales + buying - you've done this kind of thing before, and you have a knack for it
  • Purchasing/Procurement background? We'd love to talk!
  • We'll provide you with the training, but it would be great if you have the low-down of the buying, negotiation and pricing process.
  • We start our relationship from a place of trust, so we are looking for someone who is mature, is a self-starter and can work effectively on their own
  • We have an incredible cross-functional team that works together from multiple provinces, so we are looking for another champion with an awesome attitude to join the crew.
