Position Summary

The Merchandising and Supplier Management Business Intelligence team oversees the creation, production, and management of key metrics, dashboards, applications, databases, and tools used to make business decisions and execute processes in the Merchandising and Supplier Management organization (MSM).

Role

The primary role of this position is to provide critical insights and business intelligence to the Merchandising and Supplier Management organization through the creation, standardization, and delivery of applications that facilitate:

  • The simplification and/or enhancement to flows of information
  • Operational efficiency
  • Database maintenance
  • Reporting
  • Refinement of business strategy

Job Responsibilities (You Will)

  • Provide analysis, insights and recommendations that helps leaders prioritize and set direction, aligning with overall company and department objectives.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with cross functional teams to define requirements before translating them into tangible applications and insights
  • Simplify, enhance, engineer, and re-engineer complex applications
  • Document procedures and processes appropriately to build a library of solutions
  • Analyze and translate raw data to prepare recommendations that solve ambiguous business problems

Education/Experience (You Have)

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field
  • Expertise in Microsoft Access dB, VBA, SQL, and PowerApps
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel (can perform complex functions), Access, Power Automate, Forms)
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouse systems preferred (e.g. Teradata, SQL)
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with different layers of leadership across broad business functions
  • Self-directed while demonstrating effective time-management and agility
