Pastry Chef

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to design and execute a variety of desserts and pastries for our guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative desserts and recipes that compliment the daily dinner offering, catering to up to 80 guests.
• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
• Demonstrate knowledge and flexibility in creating desserts that accommodate various allergens, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
• Create homemade ice creams and sauces to complement dessert offerings and enhance the overall dining experience.
• Manage special requests for custom birthday cakes and other specialty desserts, tailoring them to guests' preferences and dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
• Experiment with new techniques and flavor combinations to enhance dessert and bread offerings
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on pastry techniques and best practices.
