About Us

North Western Property Maintenance Inc. (NWPM) is a well-established landscape maintenance and construction company specializing in synthetic grass, paving stone installations, and commercial property maintenance. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records, oversee accounts payable and receivable, and assist with payroll processing.

Position Overview

This role is ideal for a highly organized professional with 5+ years of bookkeeping experience and expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the business owner and operations team to ensure accurate financial management. Strong accounts receivable collection skills are required, as well as the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • QuickBooks Expertise: Maintain accurate financial records, generate reports, and assist with financial decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Ensure timely payments, track outstanding invoices, and follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts.
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll through ADP, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile bank accounts, and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor company expenses and ensure proper categorization.


Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the operations team with financial insights to improve efficiency and profitability.


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction, property maintenance, or a related industry.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level QuickBooks experience required. Must also be proficient in ADP Payroll.
  • Accounts Receivable Expertise: Must be confident and professional when following up with customers regarding overdue payments.
  • Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple financial responsibilities with accuracy.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work independently and handle financial challenges effectively.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience.
