The Position
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. The Mechanical Designer will work directly with Mechanical Design Lead and Design teams to ensure projects are met on budget. The incumbent will work with the management and department personnel to deliver the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform engineering calculations for materials strength, speeds, and force related to designs
- Develop equipment drawings and bills of materials using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Analyze designs for compliance with standards like OSHA and CE
- Reverse engineer components using precision measurement tools
- Communicate design changes and task progress with team leads and management
- A degree or diploma in Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of design experience in the automation industry.
- Proficiency in mechanical design using SolidWorks (or similar software).
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls; experience in equipment integration is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
