Position Overview:

Finning is seeking a customer focused Parts Apprentice (2nd Year) to join our dynamic team in Williams Lake. Our Finning Parts Team provides an excellent opportunity and diversity to develop exceptional talent, and position the successful candidate into an exciting and rewarding career.

During your apprenticeship, the successful applicant will work closely with a Parts/Warehouse job shadow to learn all aspects of the business. Including Supply Chain/Warehousing, Procurement, Transportation, Warranty, Cores and credits and Parts Sales Front counter and Shop.

The ideal candidate would possess previous sales skills in parts, or the heavy duty equipment field.

Job Description:

• Parts ordering
• Warehouse and yard clean-up
• Picking and stocking parts
• Loading & unloading
• Other general duties as required
• Service parts orders
  
  

**Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**

Shift Work MAY be required.

Qualifications:

• Highly motivated, with ability to function effectively with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Keen eye for detail, ability to prioritize
• Willingness to complete the Parts Apprenticeship Program
• A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
• Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
• Previous parts or warehouse experience, Forklift and First Aid certification, and experience with DBS, ANTARES and AIMS, would all be assets
