As a Production Planner, you will direct the workforce by supervising employees to produce a quality product in a profitable and timely manner. Responsibilities include maintaining all plant equipment to OEM specifications and OSHA regulations. Standard operations include checking in process and completed work, ensuring that shipping dates are met as scheduled, making recommendations for improvements, and ensuring adherence to global guidelines. You will also be responsible for recommending new start-up tools and equipment, troubleshooting, and making improvements to production installations.

Expectations

To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of machine tool and fabricating operations with a good mechanical aptitude. Your ability to support and work closely with production workers while providing a quality product to our customers will ensure your success.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent with knowledge of paper making processes or machine tool and fabricating operations and good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in supervision, coaching employees, and adhering to PPE and all Health, Safety & Environmental standards to promote safe practices.
