Midland Brokerage is currently seeking a Carrier Relations Assistant to be based in Montreal, QC, and/or at our Head Office in Dieppe, NB, and/or Toronto, ON. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining carrier record maintenance in accordance with our compliance standards.

- Maintain Carrier Contract & Route Guide entry and ensure accurate rates entered in Mercury gate.
- Enter all RFP awarded rates and maintain expiry dates in the system.
- Utilize RMIS and CARMA to initiate and complete carrier onboarding.
- Communicate and resolve any onboarding discrepancies with carrier and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, complete setup.
- Maintain Compliance by tracking C-TPAT certification changes and updates, action non-compliance updates from RMIS.
- General carrier record maintenance (contact names/emails, banking, quick pay, etc.).
- Education Required: High School or College Diploma
- Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of related experience, preferably in transportation industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.
