Experienced Server

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic Server to join our front-of-house team and provide an elevated dining experience.

Position Overview:

The Server is a key member of our front-of-house team and plays a crucial role in ensuring guests receive an extraordinary dining experience. We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of food, wine, and spirits who can guide guests through the menu and provide exceptional service. In this role, you will be responsible for anticipating guests’ needs, delivering food and beverages with precision, and enhancing the overall experience by offering expert knowledge on our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding and personalized service to guests by anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Thoroughly understand the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation to answer questions and make informed recommendations.
• Possess an in-depth knowledge of our wine and spirits list to recommend pairings and guide guests in selecting beverages that complement their meal.
• Accurately take food and drink orders, ensuring special requests, dietary restrictions, and preferences are met.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely, professional manner while ensuring presentation meets the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure that guests’ tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout the dining experience.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, building rapport and creating a memorable experience.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of dining areas, including resetting tables and cleaning.
• Collaborate with the kitchen, bar, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold restaurant policies, including health and safety standards, cleanliness, and service quality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a server in an upscale restaurant environment (fine dining experience preferred).
• Deep knowledge of food and beverage, including ingredients, preparation, presentation, and proper wine/spirits pairings.
• Strong ability to describe the menu in detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests and provide personalized service.
• Passion for food, wine, and spirits, with a desire to continuously learn and stay informed about industry trends.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
