Objective: This individual is responsible within the ECAN Cement Sales Team to drive commercial performance through planning, reporting and tracking by taking full advantage of, and developing improved sales metrics, tools and reports. This role will increase efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations and processes to drive revenue and margin growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Health & Safety: Demonstrates a commitment to a safe work environment and understands the safety objectives of the organization, supporting these efforts in a visible manner.
  • Market Intelligence: Estimates product demand in certain markets, gains strong feeling for the domestic cement market and implements effective processes to maintain market intelligence.
  • Performance: Contributes to establishing a customer-focused culture, tracks performance of sales team objectives, and proposes corrective actions if needed.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinates the budget and forecast process for the sales team, supports District Sales Managers and ensures consistency in pricing structure across ECAN.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Provides timely and accurate reporting on cement market and sales performances, synthesizes data to provide insights and supports training of commercial tools.
  • Data Tools & Integrity: Manages reporting and analytics for the ECAN cement division, develops clean data sources, and suggests routes for system development to best practices.

Relationship with Others:

  • Reports to the District Sales Manager; coordinate intensively with other District Sales Managers and teams.

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Sales Cement operating model
  • Annual Strategic review
  • Price Increase Plan realization
  • Commercial Documentation Directive (CDD)
  • Monthly sales performance dashboard and variance analysis

Dimensions:

  • Plant and Terminal Network of 13 sites.

Qualification Profile:

  • University degree in relevant field preferred; 1-3 years' experience in Sales/Marketing, analytics or related field.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and Word, and the Google suite; experience with SAP and Salesforce.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Customer focus, strong presentation and communication skills, strong analytical capabilities.
