The Special Events Coordinator will be pivotal in planning, coordinating, and executing events that drive brand awareness, foster customer loyalty, and expand community engagement at one of Avenue's private equity companies. This role requires creativity, organizational excellence, and strong communication skills to manage in-store activations, support external collaborations, and ensure a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

About The Role:
In-House Event Coordination
- Plan and execute engaging in-store events, such as product launches, workshops, seasonal celebrations, and VIP customer experiences.
- Collaborate with store managers and marketing teams to align event themes with brand initiatives and sales objectives.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, setup, décor, vendor relations, and on-site execution.
- Ensure events align with brand standards and provide a premium customer experience.
- Research and identify partnership opportunities for pop-ups, community events, trade shows, and other external activations.
- Cultivate relationships with local organizations, influencers, and community leaders to enhance event reach and impact.
- Negotiate contracts and manage budgets for external events to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality.
- Represent the brand at events, ensuring professionalism and alignment with brand values.
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events through email campaigns, social media, and other channels.
- Develop post-event reports to measure success and ROI, including attendance metrics, sales impact, and customer feedback.
- Continuously improve event strategies based on data analysis and lessons learned.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all activities are executed within financial guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of event plans, timelines, and outcomes for future reference.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within a retail environment.
- Proven experience working with brand partners and external vendors.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solver with a passion for curating unique customer experiences.
- Proficient in event management software and tools (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and promotional strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, preferably in retail, hospitality, or a related industry.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to handle event setup and breakdown when required.
